Specific admission requirements
Candidates for the Ph.D programme must hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and other Science related discipline, and must demonstrate excellent skills in research.
Duration of programme
The programme extends over a minimum of three years.
Programme description
The programme consists of a 100% research component. However, some graduate courses may be required. The initial research proposal must be approved by the Department of Biomedical Sciences Graduate Programme Committee, University of Cape Coast Institutional Review Board and/or the relevant Research Ethics Committees. Progress with research is monitored continuously by the supervisor and presented at divisional research meetings.
